Support Masonic Youth!

Here at Harmony Chapter, we always love and support our youth groups.

Salvation Army Angel Tree Family

Harmony Chapter #60 has, for over 10 years, annually adopted an Angel Tree Family from the Salvation Army of Loudon County.  To adopt an entire family is a large undertaking but our members are always there to provide gifts and/or monies to purchase gifts.  At our annual Holiday Brunch, a bucket is passed around the tables for donations and all funds received are used to supplement what we've already done for our Angel Tree Family.

Cards of Friendship

Harmony Chapter #60 sends cards to whoever is in need of kind words, happy thoughts, a smile or laugh or just to know a friend is by their side.  Harmony is proud of the fact that we don't limit our sharing of cards to only members of the Masonic Family, we send our cards of friendship to anyone in need of a friend at that moment in their lives.

Harmony Chapter #60 Scholarship

Harmony Chapter #60 has created a scholarship fund for college age students.  The scholarships are awarded annually.  The deadline for submitting the attached application is June 15, 2024.

Shut - ins

During the holiday season, Harmony Chapter #60 reaches out to our members that are unable to leave their homes due to health reasons or are living in assisted living/nursing home facilities.  Depending on the chairman for that year, the Chapter will purchase and/or make a gift for these members.

Grand Chapter of Virginia Charities

Every year the new Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron select a charity for their term and, as part of the Grand Chapter of Virginia, Harmony Chapter has been proud to provide donations for cancer, Alzheimer's, Shriner's Children's Hospital, service dogs, PAWS for Purple Hearts, and many, many others.  One way that Harmony Chapter participates is with a "100% Participation" donation ($1 for every member of the Chapter) for the current charity which is presented during our Official Visit of the Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron.

These are just some examples of what Harmony Chapter #60 does for their commumity, their members, their friends and family as well as anyone who is in need of a helping hand.  No one can predict when someone will need our help and Harmony Chapter #60 prides itself on being there to extend that helping hand, no matter who that person may be.
